To Chop Or Not To Chop?

Lately I have been contemplating the idea of chopping my hair. Now don't go getting all worked up, it wouldn't be that dramatic like a pixie cut. My hair is long, and heavy, and thick, and it gets tangled, and i'm annoyed with it. I think that new things come in spring, so the new Rachel is coming. It's time for things to change, and I think that chopping my hair is the perfect way to start the movement! I absolutely adore the shoulder length bob style. It is very 1960 meets 2014. It is a more modern twist to the classic bob. So here it is plain and simple, it's happening. Goodbye long locks, hello short and sassy!

This is THE look I am going for. I think that is is perfect, absolutely perfect! The length is ideal and it has layers but not too many to the point where it is hard to style!

Pretty Post

If snail mail doesn't tickle your fancy, then you need to rethink your life. Getting a letter or package in the mail just may be the the best thing ever! The excitement when you rip open an envelope makes up for the time you have to wait for it. E-mail is fast. It comes, you read it, its gone. Snail mail is written, sent, waited for, received, and read. I seem to cherish my snail mail, maybe because of the adorable stationery that is used, maybe because I know that someone took time out of their day to write it, and make sure it brought a smile to my face. What ever it is, I adore it. If you want some pretty post in your hands shoot me an email!

Wednesday Wishes

Wednesdays aren't always my favorite day of the week. I always seem to feel overwhelmed, I guess it's the turn of the week excitement, mixed with the list of tasks that I have yet to do! Whatever it may be, Wednesday's drive my crazy, and not in the good way friends. To help get some of my crazy out, I went on a little Pinterest spree aka I was on for an hour pinning anything that made me squeal, which is surprisingly a lot.

For some reason I adore this outfit. I think it's the perfect mix of neutrals while still looking cute and put together! If anyone knows where to find an ivory cable knit sweater similar to this please let me know. I have been searching all winter for the perfect one, and couldn't seem to find it! 

AAH, this blazer should be mine. I am a little confused as to why it is not. Take my word, I will own a bright red blazer within the next month. I think this one is from J. Crew, but I am not sure. It's just so pretty, especially with the chambray top, and pearl necklace! 

This photo reminds me of autumn, can you please "Bring Me Back" to warmer weather, no seriously. Beside that, I love these Tory riding boots, simply perfect. I would say these are my favorite of all of her riding boots, because they are soft leather, and have the gold T at the bottom. Wow do I want to get my hands on these bad boys!

Friday Celebrations

Friday:the last day of the work week, the day before the weekend starts, party day. Friday's are meant to be "celebratory" days, at least in my mind. Maybe your way of doing that is watching Netflix, having a dinner party, or even going to an actual party. Friday's are the day of relief, that aah it's the weekend day. Fridays would have to be my favorite day as far as labels go. Yes, I am a freak. I tend to micromanage everything, and one of those things is giving days labels. I won't bore you by detailing all of the days, i'll spare you with just the weekend! Friday is as I said before the day of celebration, then Saturday is the day of errands, and Sunday is the day of meetings and get-togethers! Sorry to make this so short, love you all!

Winter Blues

Winter Blues are bringing me down like nobody's business. I am far to ready for spring, the fresh flowers, the chirping birds, and best of all the bringing out the summer clothes. Everything that even hints spring tickles my fancy. I adore the rain, and that means hunter boots. I also love being able to wear my favorite winter pieces with my favorite summer pieces. Bring on the blazers and dresses, jack rogers and j. crew chinos, navy and orange(my favorites), and best of all the blooms. You can bet your bottom dollar that I will be purchasing flowers every other day. I'm already counting down the days until peonies will be bloomin'

Happy Hearts

Hello Lovelies! I'm back and better than ever! I took a much needed break from everything, we all have to do it sometime. Lately I have been smitten with life, and all of the wonderful things that go along with it. Here are a few things that make my heart squeal, I mean who doesn't love a french bulldog in a pool?

Hearts Day aka Valentines Day aka the day when all single girls cry about life is coming up. I am going to celebrate in the best way I can think of, by not celebrating. I will go to class, and come home and write. Writing brings me solace so why not, right? 

I forgot what else I wanted to say to you, hmmm. I will think hard, and let you know next time we talk! Oh that's right, I am looking for more pen pals! Why not, right.
