30,000 Feet

   

If you saw my prior post I said that I was flying home today, so sad. I got to the airport with a surprising amount of time. Usually I'm running to my gate, that was a joke. I'm compulsive and hate being late. I would rather get there 3 hours early than 30 minutes early. I wish that I could have played hooky with my flight, but I have to go home. I have big brunch plans tomorrow, I mean who doesn't love brunch? In other news I'm posting this in the sky. Praise the Lord for in flight wifi! I would be nowhere with out it, saying that sounds really sad...I may be a little obsessed with my phone, at least I admit it, right? Well I don't want to keep you from doing big things like I know you all are! 

Beach Please

Long time no talk, I cannot even believe that I haven't posted anything in 5 days! It is just crazy! I'm back not and not going anywhere! The past 5 days have been a lot of fun, and I'm glad that I took some time to myself. Here's the scoop on my trip to the FL.

• Monday was overcast...again so we hit downtown St. Petersburg. Let me just tell you that if you ever have the chance to go to the Salvadore Dali Museum please do. It's a little odd, but that is to be expected! The whole place is fun, and the cafe inside is probably the best part aside from the giant mustache! 
• Tuesday, still overcast. We hit Clearwater in the morning and drove by the home we almost bought,  oh the memories! After a senic drive we found ourselves in Dunedin, what a cute little town that was with little shops and restaurants! After (almost) passing a bookstore with some Fitzgerald in the window, I high tailed it back to stock up on some new books! Now I can say that I have every novel by my favorite Fitz! 
• Wednesday, a sunny day(finally)! The pool was where I was...all day. Little did I know my sunscreen had failed me, I was f r i e d. I advise reapplying often. My celtic skin does not like the sun, whatsoever. Looks like I'll never be a beach bum! 
• Thursday was a day of exploring, bright and early(at 10 am) we hopped in the car and headed south to my favorite part of Florida(aside from Tampa). St. Armands Circle was delightful as always. Tommy Bahama knows how to make a great fish taco in case you were wondering! 
• Friday, best for last. Friday morning I ventured out into the sun again, this time coated with sunscreen, not taking any chances. After baking for a couple hours, it was time to go to International Mall. Now I had already gone once on the trip, but this time I was meeting Emily(http://www.pinchofem.com). I already knew that she was just about the sweetest thing ever, but in person she's even sweeter if thats at all possible. What's a better way to chit chat than over mani pedis? All in all I had a great day with Em, and can't wait to see her again! Love you sweet girl!

Hello Sunshine

Hello Sunshine. My all time favorite phrases. So bright, so cheery. Everyone wants to have a sunshine, that one person that brings out the best in you, and gives you that warm feeling(like the sun). My sunshine is silly, and sassy, and cheeky, and wonderful! When we are together there are many laughs involved, just how it should be, right? I hope that you too have a sunshine, they can bring out the best in you if you let them try! If you don't I hope that you'll find one(or two) someday soon, they can change you're life!

Sunday Extra Funday

Hoppy Easter to you all! Hope its swell! Mine has been the best yet, thanks for asking! I hope that the bunny brought you something sweet! He must know me well, because I'm now sporting the J. Crew pave link bracelet and munchin' on some macarons(Pistachio is my favorite if you were wondering) The day started with mass at a lovely church in Pass a grille. Then we went back home, and took a nice walk along the beach. We finished the afternoon with 'brunch' at The Don Cesar aka my favorite place on the planet earth aka where I will be wed! The minute I stepped foot onto the scared grounds my heart filled with overcoming joy! They don't call it the pink palace for nothing, aah I just want to live there! Well I'll leave you to be merry!

Off to the FL

This week has been c r a z y to say the least. I'm in Tampa aka my homeland not really I just love it here! I mean who doesn't love International Mall? 

• The fun started on Thursday when I went to a photo shoot for my good friend, Luke! He is an amazing photographer hence why brands want him to do work for them! The shoot was a party, my friend Gabi went along with me, and a few other guys were there(shout out to our new BFF Malek) Needless to say I had a great time!
• Friday I was up bright and early, 6 am to be exact. I had a lot to do before I boarded at 3. Once I got to the airport and was through security, such a breeze(perks of being TSA pre checked) I got on the plane, but not without my Starbucks and magazine. When I got to the desk they told me my seat was moved...to the back of the plane. Thanks a lot Delta. After a very angry Rachel tweeted them I got 2,000 free miles. I love you Delta!
• I finally landed in the FL, can you say PTL. It was a great feeling to be back in the Tampa Bay, wind in my hair, or not really it was raining cats and dogs! I got to the condo I'm staying at and settled in before heading to see my bestie Savanna. This girl makes me double over in pain from laughter. 
• Today, Saturday, I woke up and after a lovely breakfast of almond croissonts, yum! I went to the coveted International Plaza(Mall) Boy did I shop till I dropped, Lilly, Kate, Louis, and Tory all called my name. It was a great day, and a good one to go shopping because it was overcast! Hopefully tomorrow will be bright and sunny, perfect to go PTL on the beach!

Merry Tuesday

'Hope your Tuesday is cheeky' that's what I'll be saying to everyone I see, because I've got the day off! Wohoo, party at the mall, no joke, I'm shopping today. Why not, right, when life(the school system)gives me the day off I celebrate by buying out J. Crew in my size. Sadly, it's supposed to snow, take me to Florida please and thank you.

A peek inside my purse

Hello sweet readers, I thought it was time to take you into my favorite purse! This was given to my by my bestie(Hi Savanna) this year for Christmas, and boy is she a sneaky kiki. Here's the scoop. We were in Chi-Town this past November, and the two of us popped into Nordstrom(I mean how can you not pop into Nordstrom) The two of us were looking at the pretty Long Champs, I got the clay color in the size small, but couldn't stop eyeing this beaut. I thought I was being sneaky and got her one, but she was even sneakier when she got me this gorgeous one, the mini in navy! It is too stinkin' cute if you ask me! 

• My beloved iPad mini, gosh I really must like mini things, and I also like Britt Bass artwork as you can see! 

• My lovely wallet from Kate Spade, it's too cute, and I got it on sale for only $49! What a steal! 

• I never leave the house without my handy dandy ray-bans, this girl's got light blue eyes, and needs to shade them from the sunny rays! 

• I'll bet ya that someone will comment about me carrying around nail polish. This is a necessity, you never know when you'll chip you're out and about(the color is watermelon)

• Last but certainly not least, this is probably the most important, well my wallet is important, and my phone is too. Getting back to the subject at hand, this perfume is wonderful, it is ' Live Colorfully' by Kate Spade, do get it if you can!

Adore The Abstract

It is no lie that I live my life in abstract art, anything a little odd makes my heart sing! I've got a gallery wall in the works and I thought that everyone should see what my heart wants, despite the price tag!
