Hello everyone, I can't even begin to believe that 2013 is coming to a close. It has feels like just yesterday I watched the ball drop! To conclude 2013, I thought I would share my "top 3". I have chosen 3 categories, how ironic! In each category I will talk about 3 of my favorite people who fall under that category!

As you can tell, I love blogs, it may be my own, or another's. They are the best way to spice up your day! 

Prep Avenue, I adore Shannon's blog! Everything she posts is lovely, and she posts everything from Fashion Posts to Life Recaps of sorts! Her content is phenomenal, just like her taste! She has a classic style with a very feminine "Lilly" twist. She always looks to be dresses to the nines, something we can all say we want! Not going to lie, I jump for joy every time I see that she has a new post!

Prep In Your Step, I have only recently found out about Dorothy, but I can't seem to get enough of her youtube and blog! She attends the same university as Shannon, and they have a very similar sense of style, who would have thought two of my favorite bloggers would attend the same university! She had a youtube as well, one in which is adorable. Dorothy is very consistent with posting, almost every time I open my computer I see that she has posted once again! Seeing her posts light up my day! 

Dorothy also just turned 19 so wish her a "Happy Belated Birthday"

Pinch Of Prep, Emily is adorable! Her blog is so cute, and her personality is so fun! She is an anthropologie  lover, just like I am, can you say addicted! Her style is very polished and classic, but has a very relaxed "I'm not trying, I just look this great all the time" vibe, something I wish I could have! She recently did a collab video with Danielle, the video was a Freshman Fashion! 

Her designs are very "art deco", I love it!

I am a youtube addict, simple as that. If I am on my computer, there is a 90% chance that I am watching a youtube video, or shopping at J. Crew(guilty pleasures)! 2013 has opened my eyes to a "preppy" youtube community. There I found some of my all time favorite's! 

GlamourKate08, Kate is adorable. She as well has impeccable taste. The way she carries herself is very proper, she acts like a "southern belle", and that is hard to find these days! I adore her videos! She reminds me of a younger Sarah Vickers, which we need more of in the world!

Larah Elisabeth, I love Larah. She is probably the sweetest girl I have ever met(and I haven't met her so that says a lot!) The College Prepster, Carly is the most influential preppy blogger. Her style is great, because she is originally from florida and has moved to New York. She has a mixture of the classic "Lilly" colorful Florida style mixed with the cool, sophisticated New York style! Everything seems to be going her way, she has a killer job, and an adorable dog, Theodore Fitzpatrick!

That sums up my top 3 of 13! I had a wonderful 2013, and can't wait to see what 2014 will bring me! I hope that we will stick together, because I am becoming quite fond of you! Christmas Recap

Hello Everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas(or holiday) I know that I did! The festivities started with me going to lunch with my friend Maddie, after lunch we headed back to her house to watch This Is Us, it's actually hilarious! If you haven't seen it I would highly recommend it if you want to have a good laugh! A few days later, it was Christmas Eve! My family went to a french restaurant for dinner, and then came home and opened a few gifts! I went to sleep with dreams of sugarplum fairies, and woke up at the great hour of 11 o'clock. It is odd that I slept in that late on Christmas, or even in general, I like to consider myself an early riser! Christmas began, and we did the usual opening of gifts! I have listed some of my favorite's below! After we finished, cleaning the house was the next order of business, not a fun task, but we managed! After hours of cooking, cleaning, and celebrating, our family arrived! This year we were tasked with hosting Christmas Dinner! The family was delightful, and I had a lot of fun playing pool, talking, eating, and sharing laughs! Christmas was nearly over, and my sadness started to kick in, but my Birthday is in just 3 months so I have that to look forward to!

O Christmas Tree

This past week has been far too busy! Christmas is just around the corner, and I couldn't be more excited! It has come so fast, that it feels surreal, like christmas is in 3 days, what? Nevertheless, I am excited, and very much so excited, because this the the first year that we got a real tree! Usually we travel for Christmas, but this year we are staying at home! Here are a few pictures of my adventure at the farmers market today!

Busy Bee

Long time no talk, the past month has been a whirlwind! With school, the launch of my business, and the holiday season quickly approaching, it seems that I have neglected my blog(s). I'm back, and here to tell you about my business, Lake Shore Apparel, https://www.facebook.com/LakeShoreApparel.

I started my business in the summer of 2013. It all started with one idea, to make t-shirts. I live in the north, and most of the popular t-shirt companies (The Proper Life, Southern Proper, The Southern Gentleman, Southern Tide, Southern Shirt Company, Southern Marsh, Southernly Stated, just to name a few) back to what I was saying, all of these brands originated in the south. I felt that the north needed to be represented also, that is when Lake Shore Apparel was born!

The first thing I did was make sure the name wasn't taken, and when I found out it wasn't, I immediately claimed it! After that we handled the legal process, but i'll spare you the details!

After the legalities were handled, the next priority was a logo. It was a fish, then an  anchor, then a sailboat, let's just say the design kept changing. I finally decided to just make it LSA.

We have been open to the public for just around 2 weeks, and are almost sold out! I am so proud of my business and can't wait to see it grow in the future!

Windy City Preparations

I apologize for being a terrible blogger. I have been running around for the past week, packing, studying, and making business decisions! I am leaving for Chicago in just a matter of hours and I couldn't be more excited(unless I was moving there, then I would be more excited) I will arrive at about 7, then drive straight to the airport to pick my best friend(one of)up from the airport! She is flying in from the sunny state! We rarely get to see each other so we are super excited! Enough of me ranting, I will see you on Michigan Avenue!

This was taken back in September, but the Vineyard Vines store just opened! I may spend $1000 while I'm there, that's after they reccetate me of course! 

Sprinkles is just a short walk from the hotel so I will be making 3 am cupcake runs!

Despite losing, I will still be a Michigan fan(forever and ever) The game was really good despise losing(as I said before). I was happy to see my favorite player, Number 45,Matt Wile!

Autumn Day Duties

Hi everyone! Today I am going to yet another college football game(we are season ticket holders). Going to football games is a Saturday tradtitiom that I know and love, maybe I get a little too excited when I'm screaming at the players to run the right way, but that's ok.  I will post more photos later, after we tailgate and actually get into the stadium!
